About Me
I remember our graduation was on a Saturday because my first day of work (that is, my first "real" job in the Honolulu workforce) was the Monday after! Of course, first semester of college in Fall 1993 was just because it was the thing we're all "supposed to do" and I found it bored me out of my wits! Three semesters of empty self-promises of "let's try this again" and not a single earned credit earned to my name, I finally relented that I lacked educational direction. Besides, earning money was way more fun and rewarding in the short term than doing homework! ;)
Meanwhile, I had been working two jobs - one in banking, one at the airport - learning the finer things about minimum wage and Hawaii's cost of living. I would soon find my love for aviation. Four years later (on a blind date, nonetheless - but that's another story) the throught occured: hey, maybe I could make this a career! So, starting from scratch but with newfound direction and a plan in hand, I returned to the college campus in 1997, got my certificate, then associate degree. Still working, I continued onto a bachelor's in Arizona before returning to Hawaii.
I accepted an offer to relocate to Cleveland, Ohio where today I work in aircraft maintenance management.
