About Me
There's not much to tell here. Aspirations of being a concert pianist sort of went out the window after my first year in college. So, i decided to get my music degree in composition, thinking i'd go on to grad school--which i did-- and get my masters degree and eventually a doctorate. BMus--yes; MMus--close but no cigar; DMA-NOT!
i supposedly have a calling as public school teacher, i am now teaching Chorus--yikes!, Band and General Music at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School. People say i'm crazy for wanting to teach middle school, and yes, i am crazy. As hard as it is for these kids and as insane as it is for teachers, i find that age group a joy--sometimes a curse-- to work with.
