About Me
hmm...about me? Actually it's about why I sign into these sites....guess I miss my fellow classmates, friends & up & down classmates that I came accross...like tell everyone "Wats Up Everyone?!...Where you all stay la-dat?"
Well, at age 43 wow..I look around & look back at time passing since high school days 'til now.
Worked at -
-Aloha Stadium & the University Burger King '81-'83
-Joined US Army-as a telephone/cable installer, but as everyone knows that job was 10% of the time...went:
-Fort Dix-NJ for basic training(3 weeks)-'83
-Fort Gordon-GA for telephone training(3 weeks)-'83
-Fort Hood-TX (twice) '84-'85 & '86-'87
-Camp Colurn-Korea '85-'86
Got out in '87, but stayed in the Texas National Guard for another 2 yrs. 'til my wife got out of military.
-while living in Killeen-TX( just off-base of Ft. Hood)
-delivered Domino's Pizza's 'til da car broke(averaged 60 to 100 miles a day) no wonder when broke..
-worked part-time as an AMF bowling machice mechanic-on base(fun stuff, but very noisy)
-oh yeah!..I was married for almost 20 years 1986-2006-guess the 40 year bug got to us, you name it...all the struggles what marriage goes thru...
-had two boys-both are now Aiea Alumni's:
-Aric 2005 grad...my oldest born in '87 now 20 works part-time for photo company, he tried Air Force & Security Guard.
-Aren 2007 grad...my youngest born in '89 now 18 works part-time for Zippy's in Waipahu. He played JV & Varsity Football for Aiea. Was pretty good-pulling offensive Line Guard(me the cheerleader in stands-got a pic on that..hehe)..also funny he did try in his freshman year by surprise joined Cross-Country & was coached by my coach at my time coach Brian Teriuchi. He wasn't fast enough, but his size was pretty good in football-he was very athletic & coaches loved his blocking skills(got that on dvd).
-but at end of this July '07 he going put all his offensive skills & become a Marine.
Both of my kids was in a Air Force-JROTC in Aiea, but Aren had the most acedemic in high...adding being in the band for 4 years too-that kept me pretty busy in supporting.
Well, me-after the military in 1989 we moved to Hawaii to continue family life.
-me worked for busines telephone company for 13yrs as part installer but mostly warehouse
-now I'm at Graybar Electric whom I use to order from, since 2002 for 4-1/2 years as a electrical & communications distributor. What I use put to stock now I sell them as Customer Service Rep.-at the Counter..pays ok..but gotta pay da bills.
So for now I live in Waipahu with my mom. My Dad passed away a little after I came back from the mainland in '89...he had terminal cancer, but I will always like to remember how my dad was...in which he would always find ways to make me laugh..as we as an inventor into making things that he had passed that triat onto me....dats why I was doing all kine electronics/Mr. fix-it everything man.
Wow...some "about me" to read..guess I had time to reflect on my pass.
& memorable journey, but I'm at that point of wondering where you are.
-Times a little quietier ever since one my best friends died Patrick Martin '84, while in the military. Been pretty hard trying to get our high school gangs together..like he always put it "Let the good times roll" by The Cars
-Glenn Magpoc got divorce too..no kids, but moved to the Philipines.
-Isabello Mendoza also moved & now lives in Las Vegas with his wife & little boy.
-Henry Arikaki lives in Oregon last checked as Dr. Henry Arikaki & just had their baby too.
then my other friends Dobeth Lazo, Elsie Pascual & Virginia are here in Hawaii & married too. Nana Chang, Yvonne Seit & Jennifer Salveijo.. not sure where they are. But one Virginia's kid Michael is also an AHS Alumni a 2006 grad.
So...I guess this clears my thoughts...I'll just leave this for future comments & on to whom ever wanna add to this.
For now...I'm just trying to get my kids lives going..hehe...next week their trying their driver test...wish us luck. Not yet to be a grandpa yet...but I know some you are there or close..hehe...tell me yor stories too..k.

P.S. Had put on-hold being on Alumni Committee unless some major voluteer help is needed..u can check that site out too(aieahighalumni.com) other than that haven't heard any word on plans on a 25th or 30th re-union for our '81 class, talk amongs yourselves it may soon happen..:))
