About Me
I now live in Loveland,CO, we have lived here 6+ yrs since we bought our house in the mountains. Loveland is the town that will post mark Valentines cards and forward them back to your loved one or ones, the post office has been doing this for more years than anyone can remember.
As I said our house is in the mountains about 1hr N/E of Denver on the highway that goes to Estes Park. My wife and I have been married 11 yrs and do not have any children, except for the 4 legged variety( 7 cats- my wife and I laugh because on a sign that only cats can see it says Sucka, if you need a home hang- out.) As for other animals we have a neighborhood bear and her year old cub, mountain lion, bob cat, deer, mountain sheep, elk, hawks, eagles, owls, assorted rodents and snakes- my wife tries to keep me from killing the garden snake but I just don't like them.
The house as I said is in the mountains the original foundation was the stable for the stage coach that ran thru here in the late 1800's, as we have re-modeled we have tried to incorporate the original stone walls as much as possible.
The work that I do is remodeling, I am duo trained as a land and sea carpenter. My work has taken me all over the mainland and Puerto Rico. I am lucky that I have a wife that has her own work and interest, otherwise we would not have been able to with stand the separations. When I am home besides doing re-model I do all the cooking, I enjoy it- of course if I was going to do it we needed basically a commercial kitchen but then it has been beneficial for my wife when she is making jellies for Christmas presents.
When I was at Castle I was not able to participate in sports, so I got involved in sailing (eye condition that if I got hit in the head I could have gone blind, thankfully that condition has receded.) When I was in 11th grade I got an opportunity to sail on one of the vessels used for the movie Hawaii, so when the boat left Hawaii I went with it ( Mr. Nakashima gave me his blessings 1- because I was bored 2- the life experience associated with a job of that nature where once in a life time.) Also I became an Eagle Scout. I helped Mr Bright with several of his show, stage work. Otherwise I didn't do a whole hell a lot when I was in school.
Before I settled down, it wasn't until I was 45 that it dawn on me that maybe I should get married? I was to busy doing other things and wandering about, maybe I grew up a little ( I've always heard from women that males don't ever grow up, you know I agree.)
