...Hmmmm...what is there to say???

My name is Jennifer A. Okimoto
I was born and raised in the 94-block (Waipahu) and my
neighborhood is known as SEAVIEW/CRESTVIEW.
I was raised by my mother, my grandfather and my grandmother (Rest in Peace, I miss you all) who laid a strong foundation for who I am today.

I attended Lanakila Baptist Church and School from Pre-School-3rd grade, then switched to Public school and went to Crestview Elementary which is now known as Kanoelani elementary. Went on to Highlands Intermediate and finally graduated in 1991 from Pearl City High School (home of the chargers =P).
After High School, I got my Associates degree from Leeward Community College and fell one semester short of my Bachelors in Psychology from West Oahu. (someday I'll finish it)

I currently live in Pearl City with my two sons,
Dustyn Pa'aponomaikalani Okimoto-Lunasco, age 5
and
Daetyn Stephan Pa'aikawainohiamaikalani Okimoto-Lunasco, age 4.
they attend Pearl City Elementary School.

I am employed by the State of Hawaii, DHS
(DHS/BESSD/OB/OS2/KAMOKILA UNIT)
and in all honesty---have NO life outside of work and home.
(such is the life of a single parent)

People often misjudge me, sometimes misunderstand me, frequently get confused by my actions, always try to control me, rarely keep their faith in me, more often try to correct my decisions, usually talk at me instead of to me, and just don't realize that I will survive without them if I have to.
I am a straight-up person who doesnt like to play games, and is tired of all the BS floating around in the air. I do not judge people, I am easy to talk to, have countless life experiences, relate well with others, adapt to situations, and am happy being the "nobody" instead of the spotlight.
My biggest pet peeve is STUPIDITY, and I do not and cannot put up with it.

My life so far has, to say the least, been one helluva journey from one end of society to the other end. I have seen much, experienced many, understood most, and adapted to some yet never have I stopped being ME. I try not to take things for granted, and I appreciate the simple things, the little things that usually get overlooked. My biggest downfall is that sometimes I care too much, and I help everyone before I even help myself and end up losing out...Other than that, I think I can be your best friend or your worst enemy, depending on how the situation is approached. Believe me, I can be the ultimate Bi#@h when I have to be...lol.
